Announcement of Fukushima Research Conference (FRC) “Materials Science for Severe Accident and Fukushima Daiichi Decommissioning Workshop 2019”
Material science is a useful R&D base for decommissioning of Fukushima-Daiichi Nuclear Power Station and severe accident analysis. All three days’ workshop devoted to the use of materials science will be held in several venues in Fukushima prefecture (hosted by CLADS) in the period of 10-12 July 2019.
In the workshop, experts on severe accident analysis and simulation tests and on fuel database and performance analysis will be gathered to make information exchange on the suitable use of material science.
In parallel, poster session on information exchange among senior, middle-age, and next generation researchers will be held for motivating R&D regarding decommissioning.
