I am a Senior Advisor, Deputy Director General of CLADS in charge of collaboration with European organisations. In my previous job at CEA, in France, I have been involved in various initiatives with JAEA in the back end and with 1F since 2013. I could appreciate the interest of such collaboration for both parties not only technical but also human with exchange of culture and communication. It is important to let people around the world know what is being done in 1F and be impressed as I was. I will do my best to continue enhancing international collaboration, especially among young generation.

I serve as a Senior Advisor, Deputy Director General of CLADS tasked to contribute advice and knowledge of U.S. national laboratory experiences in the sciences and engineering applicable to 1F decommissioning. Having participated in the initial response and subsequent U.S. DOE national laboratory support to the work at the Fukushima Daiichi NPS, it is also an honor to be able to extend to CLADS a conduit to the extensive knowledge and expertise within the U.S. system of national laboratories that have supported similar efforts in the U.S. DOE. Leveraging and collaboration is critically important for current and future generations of scientists and engineers in such a unique and technically complex endeavor to decommission 1F.
